TROUTMAN; DEU>MD,USA/KY,USA; 1738-1814 John Michael Troutman b. 1738 somewhere in Germany. Name is also spelled as Johann Michael TRAUTMANN. Everything I've found says he was born in Germany, but where at? He married 1st ABT 1762 to Rebecca BEARD, then 2nd Jan. 1784 to Elizabeth SCHRADER/SCHROEDER. Children by his 1st wife were John, Catherine, Peter, John Michael Jr., Anna, Joseph, Leonard and Elizabeth "Betty". Children by his 2nd wife were Elizabeth, Abraham, Barbara, Isaac, Jacob, Rebecca, Mary Polly, Philip, Cathrina "Caty", and Margaret "Matilda". He was a large land owner in Bullitt County, KY and died in Shepherdsville, Bullitt Co., KY in 1814 between April 10th when his will was made out and June 7th when a suit was brought against his heirs, a land dispute. Need suggestions on how to figure out where he was born, also can't prove who his father was, though it's suspected of being a Johann Leonard Trautmann who arrived on the ship Neptune in 1752.
