BRODERICK Phillip / MADDEN Mary; IRL>USA; c. 1868 I'm searching for my g-grandfather, Phillip Broderick, who came to NY sometime previous to the birth of his son, WILLIAM JOSEPH BRODERICK in 1868. I don't know where in IRL he came from. I know he married Mary MADDEN after he arrived in NY. She was born here. I can't find him anywhere, and the only record I can find for his son William is after he married my grandmother, Laura Belle Smith, in Hoquiam, WA in 1897. There is no evidence for his or his parents' existence before this time. It is believed that William had several brothers and sisters, but we don't know their names, either.
