    3. PERRY; AR,USA; c. 1861 I am looking for any information on the family of (Mary) Caroline PERRY, born c1861 in AR, who married Lewis Marion WHITE in 1878, in Washington County, AR, and resided there until the 1890s. Their children included: Sarah Elizabeth, James, Laura, and Millie. Caroline was at least half-Cherokee. No households in the 1870 census for that county seem to be a likely match. 2. Shari
    3. NAVE, Elizabeth; TN,USA > AR,USA; 1819-1857 Elizabeth NAVE, possibly part Cherokee, was born in TN in 1819, according to the Marion Co., AR, 1850 census. She married Allen TRIMBLE in 1835. It appears that this was in AR, then they were in MO, then back in AR in the 1840s. Elizabeth had several siblings, including John, Jacob, Abraham, and Dicy, some of whom also married TRIMBLEs. I believe they were part of one of the NAVE households in the 1820 Robertson County, TN, census. 3. STARK Mary E.; LA,USA; 1888-1895 I am trying to find out more about my gg-gm, Mary E. STARK, who married Anderson Franklin ("Frank") RIALS in St. Landry Parish, LA, in May 1888. She died in 1895, possibly in (probably) Rapides Parish, but I have been unable to find a succession or cemetery record. The family story is that her family was from MS. I have not been able to find a satisfying match in the 1880 soundex for LA or MS. There is a picture of her and her family on my web site at: http://www.hypertree.com/stark/ Any clues appreciated! 3. RIALS / RYALS; AL,USA > LA,USA; 1830-1863 I am looking for the parents of J. Edmund V. RIALS, aka Edmund RYALS, who married Elizabeth Jennie, aka Jane, GRANTHAM in Pike County, AL, between 1848-1851. Edmund was born in Dallas County, AL, around 1830. His first name was possibly "John". He enlisted in the Confederate Army and died in the Camp Forkville, LA, hospital in 1863. He possibly had a brother named Henry who is buried in Winn Parish, LA. His children included John, Louisa, Udora, and Anderson Franklin (Frank). It would seem that the Rials of Pike County, AL, were all from South Carolina - perhaps Marlborough Co. Thanks! 3. WHITE; AR,USA; 1836-1890 Looking for more information on the WHITE family of Washington Co., AR. Earliest known ancestor is Willis WHITE, b. c1836 in AR, whose sisters may have been Isabel (b. c1828 LA), Elmyra (b. c1832 LA), and Nancy (b. c1849 AR). Willis appears to be orphaned, living with siblings in the CHANDLER household in the 1850 census. Willis married Elizabeth (?) and had Johnathan (b.c1855), Lewis Marion (b. c1857), Ellen (b. c1859) and James C. (b. c1862). Willis apparently died before 1870. Lewis Marion WHITE married Mary Caroline PERRY in 1878, still in Washington Co., AR. Their children were Sarah Elizabeth (b. 1878), Millie (b. 1880), James, and Laura. They moved to Oklahoma in the 1890s. Lewis' sister Ellen possibly married Samuel VAUGHTER. There is also possibly a relationship between the WHITE family and the STOUT family of that area. 3. REED; VA,USA > KY,USA; c. 1800- I am looking for information on the family of Benjamin REED who was probably born in the late 1700s, was in VA by 1800, and in KY (Morgan County) by 1824. He was apparently a Revolutionary War soldier. As near as I can tell, he had a son James (b. c1800 in VA) who married Alcy FERGUSON, a daughter Nancy who married James LEWIS and a son Daniel who married Martha LEWIS. (James' sister) In 1834 his children (except for Daniel) moved to Washington County, AR, although I'm not sure if Benjamin was still alive. Any information about any of these families would be very appreciated. I am also trying to research a possible relationship between the LEWISes who married the REEDs and some LEWISes who migrated from Floyd Co., KY to Washington Co., AR at the same time and intermarried with REEDs and FERGUSONs in the area of White River Township.
