I would like to know who their parents were in Germany, and their grandparents, etc. Hope to find Joseph's resting place, along with his brother, and his mother whom brought them to the USA. The Swartzel named has been shortened from the original spelling at port of entry via Ellis Island, NY/NJ. Other Surnames are Book, Day, Tagnon, Lemen, Menaugh, Mensinger, Horrall all from the Indiana, and Kentucky area in the USA, 1800's and early 1900's Other Surnames fourth generation are; Moser, Petrone, and Coberg. MYERS,Henry; VA,USA>KY,USA>IN,USA; 1756-1842 Looking for info on Henry Myers, born 1756 on the South Branch of the Potomac, VA. Served in the Revolution in and around Fort Pitt ( Pittsburgh ). Reason to believe he had a brother named Fredrick Myers, also served at Ft. Pitt. May have had another brother named Jacob Myers. Moved to KY in the 1790's, settling in the area of what is today Bath Co. Moved to Ripley Co. IN in the 1830's, where he died in 1842, and was buried in the Lewis Myers Cemetery at Cross Plains. Had known son's Lewis, Christopher, Joseph, Samuel and Henry(Jr). May have had a sixth son named Solomon. According to marriage records of two son's, Henry's wife was Caroline _________.
