MCCALLION Michael; DON,IRL > NY,USA; 1879-1913 I want very much to obtain info re: my Grandfather, Michael J. Mccallion who was born approx. 1879 possibly Donegal. He emigrated to USa in 1911 and died in NYC in 1913. The ships manifest listed him as leaving from his mothers home in Garvey-Mullion, Leglands, Ireland. This name makes no sense whatsoever to me as my Grandmother always said he was from Strabane. I'm not sure how to proceed and what to do next-I plan a trip to Ireland in Oct 1998 and would like to have some groundwork done.
