PURDY / PURDIE; Northern IRL; c. 1800 Lord and Lady PURDY (or PURDIE, first names unknown) of northern Ireland had three daughters: Agnes, Mary, and Rebecca. Two of the daughters had no children. The other, either Mary or Rebecca, born about 1800, ran off with the coachman, William HANNA. They moved to Scotland and had four children: William, John, Mary, and Henry.
