GLAVIN / DOHERTY; IRL > LA,USA; 1850-1860 Please post the following. I am looking for my great grandfather John DOHERTY aka DOGHERTY, DORITY. His wife was Bridget GLAVIN. They both came from Ireland I think around 1856. They had six children. They settled in LOUISIANA in 1860. They had one child in ILLINOIS, one in MISSOURI, the rest in LOUISIANA. John and Bridget are buried in NEW ORLEANS along with two of their children.
