    3. CONNER / CONNOR Laurence; Dublin,IRL; 1750-1774 Hi All, Could anybody point me in the direction to get information on the following? James Murphy Laurence Conner was baptised on 5 April 1752 at Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria Meath Street, Dublin 8 Archdioces of Dublin with Sponsors listed of Tom Gulgher and Jane Read A Laurence Conner came to the U.S. either in October 1769 or May of 1770 on the brig FANNY under Captain Richard Taylor when Fielding Lewis of Spotsylvania County Virginia imported 82 indentured servants. A Lawrence Conner arrived in Philadelphia on May 13, 1773 on a ship from Dublin commanded by Captain Alexander Cain. Lawrence Conner is the name used by my ancestor but there are references including the Baptismal Record to Laurence. I'm not concerned with the time after he arrived in the U.S. I'm trying to go backwards from here. We have a complete genealogical record from present until then. Any help is greatly appreciated. Email or reply via group.
