SHELDON, John Charles; ENG> IRL> USA; 1800-1900 John Sheldon married to Margaret Ann Dixon, they parented William Henry. Whether there were any other children is not clear. William Henry married Julia Genevieve Cluney/Cluny in 1905. They had 7 children who lived to adulthood, they were: William Henry, jr, James Albert, Joseph Patrick, Benjamin, Julia Genevieve (Sissy), John Charles, and Mary Teresa. I was told that my mother, Sissy, was full Irish, but upon doing this genealogy I am finding it may be a misconception and that in fact she was half Irish and half English.
