KANE Ellen; IRL>AUS; -1860 I'm interested in Ellen KANE. A mystery woman indeed, my gr gr grandmother Ellen most likely emigrated from Ireland to Australia in the 1840s/1850s (although there's a *slim* chance she was instead born in Aus. and had emigrant parents). With her [perhaps second?]husband Thomas John RYAN she had at least two children in Sydney in the 1860s: Thomas b. 27/8/1862 and Mary b. c1866 It's very little to go on! Can anybody assist?
