PEYTON / GIFFARD; Dublin, IRL; c. 1790 PEYTON, Jane or GIFFARD, Jane born about 1790 PEYTON, William or GIFFARD, William born about 1814 PEYTON, Stanley or GIFFARD, Stanley born about 1815 There is a suggestion that they came from Dublin. I am searching for any leads on the above folks who apparently moved from Ireland to London some time between 1816 and 1827. Inexplicably, the family appears in the London 1841 census under the name GIFFARD, and in the 1851 census under the name PEYTON. If the children of Jane Giffard were younger, then I would expect that their mother might have remarried and they could have taken their stepfather's name, but the children were in their 20's, so this may not be likely.
