It is in the Barony of Bunratty Lower, civil parish of Kilfinaghta, Catholic parish of Sixmilebridge (also Cratloe, which adjoins Sixmilebridge), Poor Law Union of Ennis. The IreAtlas site shows these townlands for this area: Cappagh North Cappagh South Cappaghcastle Cappaghlodge I have family from this town -- no O'Shaughnesseys, but Hallorans, Glynns, and possibly McMahons, Keatings, Halpins, and Beahans.
