MANSON; DOW,NIR; 1860-1910 Looking for any MANSON family in the area of Bangor, Co. Down during those years. We are missing two John MANSONs (one, a ships blockmaker, disappears age 58 from Scotland after 1861; another, probably a seaman (maybe a whaler), age 14 in 1870). These had connections to families of WAUGH, BROWN, GALLACHER, HANLON in the area of Bangor. Can anyone help me as to the nature of industry in Bangor from 1850 - 1920?
