PATTERSON; DOW,NIR/ANT,NIR; 1800-1900 Looking for information on or descendants/relatives of my grandmother. Here is what information I have: Richard Walker PATTERSON, b 23 July 1832, Saintfield, Co. Down to Hugh Patterson and Jane Lyttle. Married Charlotte MULHOLLAND at Whitehouse (Belfast), Co. Antrim., d. 31 July 1892. Had 10 children between 1852 and 1874, all born in either counties Down or Antrim. He is buried in the Saintfield 2nd Presbyterian Church, Co. Down, as are a number of other members of the family. Richard Walker PATTERSON, b. 28 Nov. 1861, Whiteabbey, Co. Antrim to Richard Walker Patterson and Charlotte Mulholland. Married Sarah Elizabeth STEWART in 1888; d. 10 Jan 1953, Roslindale, Massachusetts. They had the following children: Caroline Eleanor Patterson Richard John Walker Patterson, b. 3 May, 1891, Castewellan, Co. Down. William Stitt Stewart Minnis Patterson, b. 20 Oct, 1892, Maghera, Co. Down. Agnes Josephine Patterson, b. 1 Oct 1894, Boston, Massachusetts. Robert James Patterson, b. 9 Feb. 1896, Boston. Sidney Louis Phillip Patterson, b. 26 Oct, 1897, Boston Hughena Marie Patterson, b. 6 Sept 1902, Boston. My grandmother Agnes Josephine used to return to N. Ireland every other year to visit with her relatives. She's died in the past couple of years and we've lost touch with the family. I'm making another trip over this summer and am hoping to locate members of the family before then, as well as trying to locate genealogical information.
