    3. FINN / GRIFFIN; KER,IRL; -1834 I'm interested in Thomas FINN and Margaret GRIFFIN (or their families) of Co. Kerry. Their children included my gr gr grandfather - also named Thomas Finn (c1834-1911). Thomas Jnr, your typical red-headed Irish farmer, emigrated ca 1860s to Australia (although oral history suggests he may have come via the Nth America) where in April 1866, "outback", he wed Margaret BRUGGY, of Clare. He lived out his days in the northern districts of New South Wales, leaving a son (again Thomas Finn) and several daughters. 1830s Kerry showed clusters of FINN families in the *west* of the county, and today many remain in parts of the Dingle Peninsula and elsewhere in west Kerry; but this indirect evidence is my only clue to further localising and identifying my FINN & GRIFFIN ancestors. Can anybody assist? Criostoir Ó Riain (Melbourne, Australia) e-mail: finn@netlink.com.au Irish "nut", fulltime dad, convalescent genealogist. Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste na Bearla cliste, ach... bíonn ort oibriú go dian chun teanga a fhoghlaim!
