BLACK David / PORTER Jane; ARM,NIR > ON,CAN; -1847 David Black and Jane Porter of Tullyallen Presbyterian Church, living in Mountnorris, County Armagh emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1847. Both were born about 1805-1808. I have no record of their marriage. From land records I think they rented land in Charlemont estates. They sailed on the ship "Constitution" 21 April 1847 and landed at Grosse Isle 8 June. Accompanying them were four children, William John b 1840, Hanna Jane b 1842, Elizabeth b 1844 and Sarah b 1846 or 47. Sarah died on the way to Canada. I would appreciate any information available about this family when they lived in Ireland. I have them well documented after they came to Canada. Thank you.
