GLANVILLE; WEM,IRL>OFF,IRL; 1790-1920 Jane Glanville, daughter of William of Tyrrellpass, Co. Westmeath, married Thomas Hackett of Castlearmstrong near Ballycumber, Co. Offaly, ca. 1810. Following others' suggestions I have read the book on Anglo-Norman Glanvilles in England; unfortunately it does not follow any Irish lines. I have met one good researcher of the Hackett family (so have the male line back to 1200), queried my family members, collected vital records, ordered the 1901 and 1911 censuses, and gotten copies of career histories. But everything is very sketchy, and I do not have Jane Glanville's mother's name. Since the 1922 fire destroyed the Church of Ireland records, I am depending on others to have collected some early 19th c. family history, especially of the Glanvilles.
