ROGERS; IRL>NY,USA; c.1816 I am researching my Rogers line. My GGGrandfather, Edward Rogers, born in the north of Ireland in 1816, emigrated to the US in the 1830s. He married Rosanna Shiels, also born Ireland, in 1841 in Troy, NY. Together they had 12 children. In 1864 Rosanna died amd Edward remarried Anna Garrahan in 1872.
