VERSCHOYLE John; DUB,IRL; -1800 I'm interested in John Verschoyle, born c1800(?) in Dublin, probably in the Dolphin's Barn area. He married Susannah St Ruth and their children included Ann and Benjamin. John and Benjamin were both wool merchants and glue dealers. It is likely John descends from the Henry (Henrik) Verschuyl who came to Dublin in 1568 with bro. William to escape religious persecution in the Netherlands - listed in Bourke's - but more info is needed on John's birth and parentage to confirm this. Can anybody assist?
