He was married to Margaret Anne Kerrigan and they live in Ballinasloe, Galway. My grandmother was Mary Anne Cawley born June 1910, and her sister was Nora(h) Cawley, known as Bobby. My ggrandfather died in WW1 along with his 3 brothers, I believe they were all in the Connaught Rangers. It is also believed that my grandmother had an aunt living in the area fairly recently, Kate Curley, along with other relatives spread as far as Dublin. He was apparently living in Moate, County Westmeath in 1881 when his first son John Thomas was born (March 28). John married Mary Jane Henry, born c1869. Mary Jane was apparently born in Athlone, County Westmeath. John and Mary Jane emigrated to Canada in 1882 where their second son Joseph Charles was born, as well as their remaining children (8 in all). Any information on John, Mary Jane, Michael or Mary Leonard would be most appreciated. Also appreciated would be an address in Ireland to which I can write to get confirmation (ie certificates) for birth for the parties involved.
