LABS; DEU > USA; 1854- I'm trying to find the birth place, parents, etc., in Hinterpommern of Frederick LABS, b 1854. He m. Nov 1878 in Germany (place unknown) to Augusta RUSCH b 1857 Schivelbein or near Stettin. They immigrated to the USA in 1879 and joined Augusta's mother and brothers in Nebraska. Fritz deserted the Prussian army and never spoke of his homeland. Thanks for any help you can give. mona_houser@juno.com
