SCHMIDT Gottlieb; Gombelstat,SXW,THE,DEU; b.c.1826 I am looking for information on my ggg grandfather, Gottlieb Schmidt, born in Gombelstat, Sax Weimar, Germany in 1826. Gottlieb and his wife, Katrina Blaurock, came to the US sometime around 1850-1853. Their daughter, Christina Schmidt (b April, 1853) was born shortly after they arrived in Baltimore.
