HABBICK / HABBICH / HABBICHT; AUT>DEU>CHE>USA>GBR; 1800- Since requesting information on the Habbick, Habbicht etc family. I have since found some information. I am led to believe that in Lauterbach, Germany there are Habichts - they would be part of my family line. I have also found references to Hessia/Schlitz - Hessian. Habicht may have originated in Switzerland. 1027, near brugg an der aare a mention of Habechthesburg = habichtsburg = habsburg (all derivitives) 14th Century name Habicht 15th Century the name Abbicho appeared (H-missed out).
