DROWATZKY; DEU; 1794-1855 Drowatzky-Foram-Gess-Kinley-Mark are my husband's ancestors. John Friedrick Drowatzky, born 1759, and Sophia Foram, born 16 Dec 1768 in Trepton (TOLL) Germany. Their son, John Karl Drowatzky and Mary (Maria) Elizabeth Gess had 10 children, 5 of whom died in 1848 during the cholera epidemic. Records state John Karl and Mary lived near Stettin in the Province of Vor Pomen in Trapdor on Tolenze. (The locale was passed on to us but we wonder if it shouldn't read Vorpommern?) They left Germany on a sailboat April 15, 1855 with 4 of their children for the United States. William, who was in his late 20s at that time, remained in Germany. My husband descends from William's brother Bernhard. We are wondering if there are still Drowatzkys in KSSOONERS@aol.com

So you should search also for "Biehler" or even "Bieler".
