GREWCUTT / ASSON; ENG > CAN; c. 1890 I am researching Henry Grewcutt born in Mowbray, Leicestershire and Jane Asson (parents Henry Asson and Jane ...) Jane Asson was born in Staffordshire. I have been told that Grewcutt is from Wales, does anyone know if this is accurate? The men were miners when they emigrated to Alberta Canada c 1890.
