BOON; MA,USA>NY,USA>CAN; 1850- Searching for BOON(E) families who may have moved to Canada from Erie Co., NY around 1850 or later. Possibly (but not exclusively) the head of household may have been John BOON, FRANCIS BOON, AUGUSTUS BOON, or SIMON or SIMEON BOON. One of these families may have been my great-grandfather's. He was William Henry Boon, who was born in Erie Co., NY in 1834. His father may have been a minister (Baptist?) who was born in Massachusetts. Reply to charnees@aol.com.
