CHEEVERS / GRIFFIN; IRL > ON,CAN > OH,USA; 1825- I am looking for information for the family of Patrick CHEEVERS (b. abt 1825 in Ireland, d. 1877 in Ohio, USA) and his wife Mary GRIFFIN (b. abt 1835 in Ireland, d. 1922 in Ohio, USA) I've been told that both of their families immigrated from Ireland to Canada on the same ship. The families settled in Brantford, Ontario, Canada where Patrick and Mary married in St. Basil's Church in 1855. The family lived in Brantford and Georgetown, Ontario before moving to Amherst, Ohio, USA in the 1870's. Some of the family settled in Elyria, Ohio, USA. The children that I know of included: John CHEEVERS b. abt 1858, in Ontario, CAN Charles CHEEVERS b. abt 1860 in Ontario, CAN Alice CHEEVERS b. abt 1862 in Ontario, CAN Jane CHEEVERS b. abt 1864 in Ontario, CAN Dennis CHEEVERS b. 1866 in Georgetown, Ontario, CAN Patrick CHEEVERS b. abt 1868 in Gerogetown, Ontario, CAN Mary CHEEVERS b. abt 1870 in Georgetown, Ontario, CAN Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
