MCGEE, Joseph C; IRL>QC,CAN>NY,USA; 1859-1926 Am seeking any information on ancestors/siblings of Joseph C. McGee, born 1859, somewhere in Quebec. He emigrated to the US in 1880. He lived mostly in northern VT (esp North Hero) and northern NY (Beekmantown, Lyon Mountain, Plattsburgh). I know little else about him, except that he named his children Monetta, Rose, Dora and Dwight. His middle name MAY have been Cornelius. On one US census, it says that his parents were born in Canada, and spoke Irish. I am desperate to get a lead on this line, so any information will be greatly appreciated.
