FISH / LOTHROP; ON,CAN; 1850-1900 My wife's great great grandparents were, Silas E. LOTHROP and Mathilda Ann FISH. They were living in Haldimand Township, Northumberland County, Ontario in the last half of the 19th century. Silas was born in Ontario, (possibly Haldimand), while Mathilda Ann was born in New York State. Her father, Ebenezer, who died in Haldimand, was born in Massachusetts. There were several other Fish families in Haldimand at this time, all children of Ebenezer. I am trying to find the origins of these 2 families.
