Re: NORRIS; IRL>ON,CAN; 1870-1890 My paternal grandmother was a Norris. Her grandfather, Michael Norris was born in County Kerry, Ireland in 1822, died in Caledonia, Ontario, Canada in 1904; married Susanne Godfrey (b.1830, d. 1920) in 1847. I include the following list of their children, in case you might have some record of them Michael & Anne had 10 children: Anne (1847), John (1849), Thomas H. (Ap 22, 1851), Elizabeth (1853), Joseph G. (1856), Susannah (1856 - twins?), William G. (1858), Minnie (1862), Robert P. (1868) I believe that the Norris family lived in the Mt. Forest area of Ontario, about 2 hr drive NW of Toronto. Milton, Ontario is just west of Toronto. It sounds as if my Great Grandfather, Thomas H. Norris was a different one than your ancestor.I have a contact in the Norris family in the Kitchener/Waterloo area who might have some information for you. She is currently putting their part of the family tree into the computer. Thanks DNorris852 wrote: > NORRIS; IRL>ON,CAN; 1870-1890 > > Seeking info. regarding Charles Norris.
