COPELAND / WRIGHT; FER,NIR>QC,CAN; 1822 Searching for any information on families of great, great grandfather Anthony COPELAND and his wife, Mary Ann WRIGHT who emigrated from Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland in 1822, and ended up in the St. Andrews/ Lachute area of Argenteuil County, Quebec, Canada. A son, Nathaniel, came with them, but twin daughters, for some reason, stayed behind with their grandparents and came to Canada about 15 years later. Vague family history suggests some sons and daughters of a William COPELAND (possibly a brother from County Down) may have made the journey with Anthony and Mary Ann. Any leads at all on the origins and descendents of the above named family would be greatly appreciated, and will gladly share info that I have. Thanks, Murray Copeland, Ontario, Canada copeland@vianet.on.ca
