Hi, folks -- Over the weekend, the machine at RootsWeb which hosts the soc.genealogy.surnames approval robot was moved from one network to another. Ordinarily that would be a good thing (we now have more bandwidth than before), but one side effect was that the new network didn't have access to RootsWeb's news server. To make matters worse, your moderator is in the process of moving to a new house and didn't have time to check up over the weekend! The end result is that everything submitted to soc.genealogy.surnames since last Friday got delayed. I'll be gathering up all of the submissions that got queued and will approve them over the next day or so. Subscribers will get a *lot* of messages while we catch up for the next twenty-four hours -- awfully sorry about that.
