WESKETT; ENG; 1830-1900 I am researching WESKETT (and variations of spelling) families in Gloucestershire, Berkshire and the London area from about 1830 to 1900. My husband's ggfather, Joseph Weskett, was born in Wantage, Berkshire about 1838. His birth is not registered in the civil registrations. He married Emma Elizabeth Male in St Marylebone, London in 1863. They had 8 children. One of their sons, Henry Herbert, came to Canada in 1904/5, lived in Montreal for a time but settled in Toronto in 1908 where he raised a family. My husband is his grandson. Joseph had an older brother, of whom we know very little and a younger brother, Frederick. Three of Frederick's sons came to Canada and settled around the Ottawa area. I believe there are some Wesketts in Australia and/or New Zealand, also. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.
