SKERRITT / SKIRRITT; ENG>CAN / USA; 1785- I am looking for the marriage of John Skerritt and Alice_____ around 1786 or 1787, probably somewhere in Lincolnshire, though not necessarily. I have found the birth of their children in Grantham Parish but do not find their marriage. Over a period of 100 years there is a fair representation of that family name in that parish but I'm missing some connectors. This marriage information would bring me one step closer. If you have any sources for this information such as marriage indexes where you could do a look-up for me I would greatly appreciate it. If you happen to run across any other Skerritt marriages in the process I would appreciate knowing about those too. Each new piece of information seems to put another piece of the puzzle in place.
