BISSET James; SCT>CAN; 1835-1869 Hi Juanita, I saw your series of posts providing information on various families in Canada. I have a researcher that is pulling together quite a bit of information for me on my James Bisset / Helen Melvina Bradford family of Huntingdon and Abbotsford, Quebec. James was a Scot, B: 1835 in Scotland, D: 1869 in Huntingdon. He married Helen (a native of Quebec) sometime before 1860 in a place so far undiscovered. I have NO information on when he emigrated, with whom (if accompanied), via where in North America, or from where in Scotland. My most important quest at the moment is to uncover his birthplace / family in Scotland. I was just wondering if you have anything at all in your many sources that could contribute to my knowledge of my Great Grandfather and family?
