MACKAY Peter, David; ENG; -1800 Hi, I am trying to search the MACKAY line in Britain. The following is the info I currently have. Peter MACKAY from Scotland?(may have married a Johnston as this appears in the next two generations.) Had son: David Johnston MACKAY (believed to have lived in Manchester and was involved with coal fields/depot and race horses and race dogs (family history) On birth record of son his profession is listed as boiler maker. He married Margaret WILKINSON and had son (my grandfather) His name is also David Johnston MACKAY. He was born March 2, 1880 in Hulme, Eng. - worded in accounting - lived in or near Pelsall, Eng. He married Jane PRICE - born- January 16, 1881.Pelsall,Eng.(her parents were George and Caroline Fanny PRICE. nee: HOLLAND (Price family may have been from Whales.) David and Jane married January 30,1902 - on marriage cert. it states his profession as Engineer,Hansworth, Eng. They came to Canada on ship CORSIAN (with some children) - left Liverpool Nov. 5,1909 and arrived in Quebec Nov. 13, 1909. I am just starting to research this line and I have little info except above. If anyone has some infoto share that related to my line I would be most interested and grateful for any assistance.
