My great great grandfather: Frederick William James TIER - born Portsmouth c.1861 -emigrated to Australia c1868 -married Frances RODGERS c1864 -had six children Elizabeth c1886 John Herbert c1890 (my great grandfather) Frances Daisy (?) c1893 Frank c1895 Winifred c1858 Ernest c1900 -died 19th November 1912, Inverell, NSW Australia His father was also named Frederick William James TIER and according to his death certificate was a publican.
