BATSTONE; DEV,ENG; C. 1850 Hi I am trying to trace information regarding the BATSTONE family from Devon. I do know from the 1851 census that Charles and Ellen (nee Griffen) were living in Abbey Gates Axminster at this time with their five children. Charles was 36 at this time and Ellen was 32. The only other thing I know about the family is their son John George was married on 4 Feb 1880 in Albury, NSW, Australia in 1899 and died in the same town aged approx 50years.
