DAFFIN; ENG>MD,USA; 1600- I would like to find anything about the first Daffin or Daffins that came to America. I can find them back to the mid 1700's, but believe they arrived earlier. I have heard from Manchester. I know there are Daffins around Birminham and Sheffield, but don't know if related. No contact yet with them. There seem to be two family lines 1-George Daffin-abt.1758 and 2-Thomas J. Daffin abt. 1825 I am descendant of Thomas, but the two families must be related as they are in same area of Maryland.
