ROSS, Carlyle; NTT,ENG>NY,USA>MA,USA>TX,USA>PA,USA; 1843-1911 I am researching the family of Carlyle ROSS. His parents were Carl ROSS and Jane WINDLE from Nottingham, England. He was born in Aug, 1843 in England, became an accountant, served in the military mainly in Texas, married Sarah A. KELLY, and had 7 children in Texas. He then married his second wife, Marie Emma ORDEMAN, in Alleghany City, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania in 1896, and had a daughter Ethel May in 1898 and a son Frederick Malcolm in 1901.
