TEGARDINE Mark; Wisbech, ENG > USA; 1811-1896 Researching for BIRTHPLACE & PARENTS of my gggrandfather: TEGARDINE, Mark born 1811 in England - believe County of Cambridgeshire Married HALES, Jane (dau of Henry Hales) on 25 October 1836 in Parish of Wisbech St. Mary's, County of Cambridgeshire, England. Emigrated in 1843 with wife and 2 children son Jacob Edwin and dau Lydia for USA Died 9 May 1896 in East Rockport Twp, Cuyahoga County, Ohio where he and family lived since immigration in 1843. Additional PERTINENT info: Their first child was a son named James who died at ca 1 year. Their 10th child was a boy also named James died shortly after birth in 1852. Their 11th and last child was born in 1855 and was named James also. This last James (James Edward) lived far into maturity, dying 24 June 1932 in Chicago, IL.
