MACDOUGALL John; SCT>ON,CAN; b. 1752 I am looking for any information regarding John MacDougall [20~ (1752-1848). Born in Urquhart, Inverness-Shire, Scotland, he emigrated to New York in 1773, fought for the British in the Revolutionary War and then settled in Lancaster, Ontario, Canada. He was possibly married to a Catharine Grant and I believe had children William, Roderick, Donald (b. 1786), Duncan (b. 1786), Alexander (b.< 1794), John (b. <1797), Isabella (b.c. 1800).
