DRAKE Peter; DEV,ENG/NY,USA/NB,CAN; 1739- Peter Drake was a noted Loyalist who fled to Belle Isle, New Brunswick in 1783. He was born 16 June, 1739, but we do not know where. Some say England. Others say New York. He owned a farm on the Courtland Estate in Westchester County, NY., which he received compensation for after the Revolutionary War ended. Can you help us find his birthplace?
