HORNSBY / LOVERIDGE / ROSE; ENG; -1792 Hello, I am looking for more information on my ancestor Mary LOVERIDGE alias HORNSBY, a Romany, arrested at Streatley, Berkshire, and tried at Reading. She was convicted and sentenced to transportation to Australia. Priscilla LOVERIDGE (relationship unknown, also a Romany) was also arrested, charged, sentenced and transported. A James ROSE was also charged. It is not known if he was related in any way to Mary or Priscilla, nor whether he was convicted or transported.
