My maternal gf. was Ernest Willans WALTON born 1886, Burley,Kirkstall, Leeds, Yorkshire. His father was a Mark WALTON born 1861, Knottingley, Yorkshire and mother Harriet BIRDSALL. Mark's father was, I believe, Mathew WALTON. Ernest had a brother Samuel WALTON as well. Ernest's family moved at some point to Grimsby, where his two sisters Millicent WALTON and Ivy WALTON lived on well into the 1960's or more. Do you have any info that could be relevant??
