William WALLIS born 1834 in Orlingbury removed to Staverton, where he was a constable he met and had a son with Hannah TREADGOLD. The son was baptized William Wallis TREADGOLD in 1862 at St. Marys in Staverton. Family lore is Hannah refused William WALLIS' offer of marriage. William knew he had a son as years later the two men passed each other on the streets and look at one another and smile in acknowledgement, supposely they resemble one another. I wish to find out if my g. grandfather Wm. Wallis Treadgold had any half sibilings and if any "relatives" might have a photo of William WALLIS that I could have a copy of?
