PUNCHARD; JSY,CHI>Salem,MA,USA; 1669-1913 I am researching William PUNCHARD. He emigrated to Salem, MA from the Island of Jersey in the English Channel before 1669 (although one source claims he was from a farm in Norfolk, England). He married Abigail Waters of Salem on 26 Oct 1669 and they had 5 children: Abigail (b. 3 Sept 1670); Mary (b. 17 Jan, 1673; d. 24 Aug 1678); William (b. 11 Nov 1677); John (b. 2 April 1682); Sarah (B. 27 Oct 1685). I have a great deal of information on his descendents for the next 9 generations up to the present day which I would be glad to share. However, I am stuck trying to trace him further back.
