CLEGG / STOTT; Littleborough, LAN,ENG; 1822- I am searching for the ancestors of John CLEGG and Sarah STOTT who he married at Rochdale Parish Church on 25th December 1846. John was a Painter/plasterer born c1822 in Littleborough, Lancashire and Sarah was born there the same year. They had 4 children Thomas Edward, Sarah H., Louisa (my great grandmother) and Elizabeth all born in Calderbrook (Littleborough) John Clegg's father was James CLEGG a fuller, but I don't know who his Mother was. Sarah Stott's Father was James STOTT who was a Woollen Manufacturer in Rochdale, again I don't know who her Mother was.
