On a Family Tree Maker CD there are Catlins in Conneticut and an Annie Elizabeth Catlin that married Fitzowen William Crawley (my great-grandfather). Annie was born in Hertfordshire, England, and three of their children were born there - Fitzowen William (Jr), Gertrude Sarah and Annie Elizabeth (Jr). They then moved to Ontario, Canada, and a fourth child, Thomas Catlin, my grandfather, was born , in 1877. Where does Annie fit into the Catlins in CT? They are both on the tree, but there is no acknowledgement of Thomas's birth. HORNSBY / LOVERIDGE / ROSE; ENG; -1792 Hello, I am looking for more information on my ancestor Mary LOVERIDGE alias HORNSBY, a Romany, arrested at Streatley, Berkshire, and tried at Reading. She was convicted and sentenced to transportation to Australia. Priscilla LOVERIDGE (relationship unknown, also a Romany) was also arrested, charged, sentenced and transported. A James ROSE was also charged. It is not known if he was related in any way to Mary or Priscilla, nor whether he was convicted or transported.
