He was son of Thomas (ca. 1754-1840) who was son of John (1717-1795). Erasmus was born in Derbyshire, Eng. and moved to Montreal Canada on his honeymoon after marrying Mary L. She was born Aug. 24, 1886, Eng. and died Apr. 18, 1963 in OHIO, USA. They married Dec 16, 1906 in Stoke. She went to the US in 1913 with her husband Ernest and children. This is all I know of her.
